The purchase process step by step
- Select a licence and pay. Add Windows 11 Pro to the cart, pay with TWINT, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Receive the key by email. The 25-character genuine Microsoft key usually arrives within a few minutes of payment being received.
- Use the setup file. Use the included link to download the Microsoft-signed setup file, for a clean install or an upgrade.
- Activate. Enter the key in Settings under System and Activation. Windows verifies it against Microsoft's servers.
What the activation guarantee means
During activation, in rare cases there may be follow-up checks, for example after a hardware change. Most of these situations are routine and resolved in a few minutes, often via Microsoft's automated phone activation system.
Should a licence still fail to activate permanently despite support assistance, the activation guarantee applies: you receive a free replacement key or your money back. That puts the risk on us, not on you.
