How quickly do I receive my license key?

Immediately after payment is received by email, usually within a few minutes. If no email arrives, please check your spam or junk folder.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and TWINT. All payments are processed in encrypted, PCI-DSS-compliant form. Your license details are released only after payment has been successfully received.

Do I get a proper invoice with VAT shown separately?

Yes, every order automatically includes a PDF invoice with VAT shown separately and complete billing details. It is suitable for accounting, expense reports and as proof of purchase.

Where do I find my order number?

The order number is shown in the subject line of your confirmation email (e.g. «Order #12345»).

How can I cancel my order?

As long as the license key has not yet been activated, we can cancel the order and refund the full purchase price. Contact us by chat or phone and we will sort it out directly.

Are there volume discounts or B2B terms for companies?

Yes. From 2 licenses you receive a tiered volume discount, and from 50 licenses we negotiate individual terms. By default, every order comes with a proper VAT invoice as proof of purchase. Should a software audit ever come up, we support you where possible with additional proof-of-supply documentation. Just write to us with your requirements.

Licenses & Activation

Legality, origin, transferability, devices

Are the licenses legal?

Yes. Trading in used software licenses is fully permitted within the EU/EEA and in Switzerland. The legal basis is the ECJ ruling C-128/11 of 03.07.2012 as well as Art. 12 para. 2 of the Swiss Copyright Act (URG). With every order you receive a proper VAT invoice as proof of purchase.

Where do the licenses come from?

Our licenses come from verified European sources: insolvencies, business closures and license stocks from system changes. Every license is checked and documented before sale. We verify origin, license type, edition and activatability.

How long is the license valid?

Our Office and Windows licenses are valid indefinitely (perpetual license). Microsoft 365 depends on the chosen subscription, usually 1 year from activation.

On how many devices can I install the software?

Each perpetual license is intended for one device. Microsoft 365 allows a larger number of simultaneous devices depending on the subscription plan. For multiple devices you need additional licenses. From 2 licenses there is a volume discount.

What happens when I change hardware?

You can transfer the license to a new device. After a motherboard swap, Microsoft recognizes the PC as a new device. The activation then has to be carried out again by phone or via a Microsoft account. We support you free of charge through this process.

Do I need a Microsoft account?

To activate a perpetual license, no Microsoft account is required. A local user account on your device is sufficient. A Microsoft account is only required if you want to use OneDrive cloud storage or other online services. Microsoft 365 subscriptions, on the other hand, are necessarily tied to a Microsoft account.

How does the right of withdrawal work?

You have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal, as long as the license key has not yet been activated. In that case you receive the full purchase price back.

Do I have an activation guarantee?

Yes. Every key is automatically checked for functionality before sale. If activation still does not work, we help free of charge, usually within a few minutes by chat, phone or TeamViewer. If, in an exceptional case, activation still cannot be established, you receive a free replacement or the full purchase price back.

What to do if the key does not work?

Contact us by chat or phone. We replace the key free of charge or refund the full purchase price. Response time during support hours is usually under 5 minutes.

How long does support last?

You have 90 days of free support after purchase, for activation, installation and general questions about the software.

What happens after the 90 days of support?

Microsoft's own support for the software continues independently of us, as long as the version is officially supported. On request, we can also help out after 90 days. Just write to us and we will find a solution. Your license naturally remains valid indefinitely.

Installation & Technical

How long does the installation take?

Depending on your internet speed 5 to 15 minutes. You receive the license key immediately after purchase by email. A step-by-step guide is included with every order.

Where do I find the download?

You find the download link in the confirmation email or under «Downloads» on our support page. We link to the official installers from Microsoft. You download directly from the original source.

Do the licenses work on Mac?

Microsoft Office is available as a native Mac version. Most of our Office licenses can be used cross-platform. Look for the «Mac» or «PC/Mac» note in the product title. Windows, Visio and Project are only available for Windows. There are no official versions of these products for Mac. If you are unsure, ask us before purchasing.

Do I have to uninstall my old Office version first?

Recommended, yes. Microsoft warns against conflicts between different main Office versions on the same device. Add-ins and file associations can interfere with one another. Microsoft offers an official removal tool, and on request our support will guide you through the process free of charge.

What is phone activation?

If online activation does not work (for example after a hardware change or with certain license types), Microsoft offers a free phone hotline. You read out your installation code by phone and receive a confirmation code in return. It sounds laborious, but usually takes only 5 to 10 minutes. On request, our support will guide you through the process.

What if I bought the wrong version?

No problem. We exchange it for the correct version free of charge. At the same price without a surcharge, otherwise just the difference. Simply contact our support.
