Download and licence, the connection
The setup file for Windows 11 Pro is freely available, it installs the operating system. Without a licence, however, Windows then runs only in a limited way: no personalisation, regular activation reminders. Only the licence key turns the installation into a fully functional, activated Windows.

The path to an activated Windows 11 Pro
- Buy the licence. After payment, the licence key arrives by email, usually within a few minutes.
- Download the setup file. The official setup file is available free of charge directly from Microsoft. When you buy through us, the matching, Microsoft-signed file is in our download library.
- Install or upgrade. A clean reinstall via USB stick or a direct upgrade from Windows 10 or Windows 11 Home.
- Activate with the key. Enter the licence key in the settings under Activation. If you run into problems, our support team is here to help.
